 The Delegation of the European Commission to China is organizing an outdoor festival in Beijing entitled The EU Extravaganza on May 23-24. A taste of European culture will be on offer, as the event showcases the highlights of the region’s music and cuisine. With participation of 27 EU Member States, this event offers you a unique chance to explore the richness and diversity of European culture.

Exhibition Booths
 The exhibition booths from 27 EU Member States together with a central EU booth will present you a complete picture of Europe on the themes of culture, tourism, education, business and more. Do not miss the chance to visit the stands of the following countries:

Performances
 The event offers you performances from various European countries, featuring a Hungarian string quartet, Quartet alla Ungharesca, Bulgarian pop singer Yordanka Hristova and piano soloist Mina Ivanova; Romanian singer Ciubancan Mugur, who released several ablums and appeared on numerous TV shows in China; Polish folk ensamble, Istebna, and jazz band, Jagodziński Trio; China-based French guitarist Frederick and much more.

Food Street
 Food from some of the capital's top European restaurants will also be on offer. Don't miss the opportunity to taste a wide selection of European cuisine. Try the traditional German "Spaetzle" with mushroom cream sauce, a slice of Romanian "cozonac" dipped in red wine, Slovenian "Argeta" pâté, Finnish "Champagne & berries", popular Portuguese egg tart "Pastel de Nata"… and many other mouthwatering surprises.
